Description

“Time Passed By”

A wagon rests where time grew still,
Its wheels now roots, the vines they fill.
Once drawn by hands and hoofs and fire,
Now cradled soft in green’s empire.

Wildflowers bloom where paths were worn,
In colors bright, both bold and torn.
A crimson barn, half-lost in shade,
Still stands where once strong voices played.

The creek hums songs of long ago,
Its waters kiss the stones below.
And trees, like guardians, bend low
To whisper secrets winds still know.

No hurried footstep, no sharp cry,
Just echoes caught beneath the sky.
Where nature wraps what man lets lie—
And dreams begin when time passed by.
